Strengths: Duo Core processors are not just hype. Amazingly fast and agile. Much faster than my old Dell 5150 with 3.06 H/T. I would recommend buying it with everything (your going to spend money anyway), I got the 2GB RAM and the 2.0 Duo Core, also love the 100GB 7200 RPM hard drive and the advanced graphics card. Very beautiful looking machine as well.
Weaknesses: Case will show every fingerprint
Overall Evaluation: HP has outdone themselves with this beautiful workhorse. I shopped Dell, Gateway and Toshiba also before settling on the HP dv9000t and am glad that I did. The fastest computer I have ever seen, just incredible for multitasking. I can see why the editors rated it the number one power laptop for a reason.

Strengths: Excellent screen, great keyboard with good feedback. HP added features made it a great laptop. AMD Turion give great performance.
Weaknesses: Keyboard can be a bit noisy.
Overall Evaluation: Using only Macintosh for 18 years, this is my first PC. I switched because the screen, at 17inch has great colors with smooth fonts. The keyboard has excellent feedback with full size keys. HP does a great job of adding features to enhance the product with multi-media tools.
